Shane Paish is Australian-born and globally recognized as one of the most successful makeup artists in the world. He began his career in Australia where he, in his first two years, landed nine Australian Vogue covers. After moving to New York, Shane quickly became a sought after name by major magazines, fashion houses, world renowned photographers and the supermodels of that time. Shane worked closely with the late makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin, there his fashion career went to the highest levels one could imagine. Directing runway shows from New York to Paris, Milan and London.
It was then in the middle of all this, at the peak of his fashion career that Shane was asked to do the film the Thomas Crown Affair, creating Rene Russo’s now iconic look. Shane was then bombarded by Hollywood actresses and supermodels including Charlize Theron, Drew Barrymore, Sharon Stone, Naomi Watts, Cindy Crawford, Shalom Harlow and Amber Valletta to name just a few.
The House of Dior garnering him an unprecedented contract lasting a decade as their “International Beauty Expert/Advisor to Dior “, working closely with Oscar winner Charlize Theron among other international celebrities.
